Nicoletta Muscas, photographer for the Region of Sardinia, was born in Cagliari in 1977. A great desire to travel and learn about different places and cultures led her to undertake studies in Linguistic Mediation.
After some work experience and volunteering abroad, she decides to settle in Sardinia, where she teaches young children English and Spanish through play-like activities. The camera, from simple travel companion and a tool for preserving the memory of experiences and people met, becomes only recently a means to express herself and to give voice to her vision of the world. She experiments with different techniques and genres, but at the moment her interest lies mainly in Nature and wildlife photography, in particular landscapes and macro.
